Here at Woburn Patch, social media is a big deal.

Social media is one way we interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind.  is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and y not have known about before.

Overheard on Facebook

Here is a sampling of comments and happenings on our Facebook page and the social media world from the past week: 

• Our Facebook fan base is still growing! We gained 14 new followers and, as of Friday night, were at 1,748 fans! Welcome to all our new fans! 
• Our Twitter fan base is also moving on up! We are currently at 708 followers. Welcome to our new readers! 
• We were missing in action a bit on Thursday as we were in training to help make Woburn Patch even better!! We left training inspired and ready to go, so look for more fun features on our page soon!
• We had an awesome Thursday morning with @JaredRan of our Patch offices in NYC, who tweeted he was having a "great town thursday breakfast with @woburnpatch! (@ The Restaurant) http://t.co/Psi7a5E."
• Twitter user Andrew_Winston agreed with us when we tweeted that Bill & Bob's Roast Beef is Woburn's "guiltiest pleasure."  
• Our favorite comment of the week goes to RCham220 on Twitter, who responded to our Donnie Wahlberg lovefest on Aug. 17 with "Another Dorchester kid that you like, eh? :)" That's right!
• It's getting a little busier on our Facebook and Twitter pages—must be the summer winding down? Let us know how you're doing, we love to hear from you all! 
• As always, we try to post a conversation starter each night on our Facebook page, so be sure to join us there after 7 p.m. nightly!

We normally take a moment here to highlight a Woburn social media page, but we really want to introduce you to this awesome music group we love here at Woburn Patch. Jukebox the Ghost is an amazingly talented group of guys, one of whom is from Winthrop, and they are big Woburn Patch fans. So if you like pop, rock, fun music, check 'em out! Follow them here.
