Here at Woburn Patch, social media is a big deal.

Social media is one way we interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind.  is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and y not have known about before.

Overheard on Facebook

Here is a sampling of comments and happenings on our Facebook page and the social media world from the past week: 

• Our Facebook fan base is still growing! We gained 20 new followers and, as of Friday night, were at 1,792 fans! Welcome to all our new fans! 
• Our Twitter fan base is also moving on up! We are currently at 746 followers. Welcome to our new readers! 
• Our fun comment of the week goes to Kevin Buckley on Twitter (buckbites). In response to the police log entry that a man was caught in AC Moore with a beer, Kevin wrote: "Beer into AC Moore? It obviously was a craft brew...."
• We heard from several Facebook users on Friday, after we got a chance to meet many at the Fox 25 Zip Trip. It was great meeting so many of you, and to see so many familiar faces from Facebook! 
• We pride ourselves on being the source of information that you need right now. And on Thursday, we kept up with a power outage on Main Street that was affecting traffic lights. Thanks so much to the users who helped us with this story, including: Jess Latanowich, David Preston, Catherine MacDonald Murray and Cheryl Tracy.
• As always, we try to post a conversation starter each night on our Facebook page, so be sure to join us there after 7 p.m. nightly!
