Residents Asked to Narrow Field During Tuesday's Congressional Primary

Here is a roundup of several Patch question and answers that ran in advance of the Tuesday primary election.

Residents will be asked to head to the polls on Tuesday in a primary election to select which two candidates will square off in the 5th Congressional District race in December.

There will be seven Democratic names on the ballot Tuesday. They are Sen. William Brownsberger, Sen. Katherine Clark, Middlesex Sheriff Peter Koutoujian, Martin Long, Paul Maisano, Rep. Carl Sciortino and Sen. Karen Spilka. 

The three Republican names on the Tuesday, Oct. 15 primary ballot are Frank Addivinola, of Malden, Mike Stoppa, of Holliston, and Tom Tierney of Framingham.
