An American Sampler:Songs of Love and Nature

Join the New England Classical Singers for a concert of 20th Century American Choral Music, including Ronald Perera's "Why I Wake Early," a musical setting of 8 poems by the Pulitzer Prize winning poet Mary Oliver. The poet resides in Provincetown, and the poems are taken from her daily walks around Cape Cod. Other pieces on the program include works by Irving Fine, Gershwin, Aaron Copland, and Hoagy Carmichael.

There will be a pre-concert talk by Mr. Perera, and a post-concert reception.

Tickets are $20/18/15, students with ID are free.
