Community Corner

Farino Photo Show

On Sunday, August 11 at 2 PM, Woburn Public Library volunteer Linda Olsson will present the next Community Conversation
featuring photographs from the Patrick Farino Collection at Woburn Public Library.

 After identifying photos recently
published in the Woburn Daily Times, we will move on to a wide variety of
photographs including: Atlantic Gelatin, the Bowladrome, Mayor William
Shaughnessy’s inauguration, Borden’s Ice Cream plant, 1950’s Little League, May
Day at Saint Charles, and St. Anthony’s First Communion in 1954 and 1955, as
well as many others.

The audience will be encouraged to
identify what they recognize.

If handicapped access is required, please
call the library the week before at (781) 933-0148.

The event is free to the public and
refreshments will be provided.

Doors will open at 1:45 p.m. and the
program will run from 2pm to 4pm.
