Fraud and Scams Prevention Series Steps to Avoiding Scams

Fraud and scams is an issue that affects everyone. During this series you will learn more about the various scams that exist. By learning about them you will be more likely to identify them, and then avoid them. We will also discuss various strategies on how to reject the fraudulent offer and what to do if you do become the victim of a scam.

During this session we will be doing a program from the National Council on Aging designed to give an overview of popular scams targeting seniors, tips for avoiding them, and the next steps for victims of financial fraud.
