Wednesday Night Lights~Flashback to Tanner Football Highlights
Come relive the excitement of hometown football during the Woburn Historical Society’s upcoming program titled, “Wednesday Nights Lights - Flashback to Tanner Football Highlights,” on Wednesday, December 4th at 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post, 194 Lexington Street, Woburn. Spanning an era of gridiron, the program features original coaches’ film from three games: 1949 Woburn vs. Winchester; 1954 Woburn vs. Wakefield; and, Woburn’s 1975 Super Bowl team vs. Winchester. Woburn High School football memorabilia will also be displayed during the program.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free. Light refreshments will be served following the program.
