Bruins Donate Hockey Equipment to Woburn Boys & Girls Club

The black and gold brought $1,000 of equipment to town during a recent visit.

While the Boston Bruins have been busy racking up wins in recent weeks, members of the team's staff has been busy as well.

The Bruins Youth Hockey Development Team recently visited eight Boys & Girls Clubs around the region, including a stop in Woburn.

During their visits, team employees donated street hockey equipment for the clubs to either start a street hockey league or add to their current collection of equipment.

The Bruins donated $1,000 worth of equipment to Boys & Girls Clubs in Woburn, Watertown, Assabet Valley (Maynard), Nashua, N.H., Lowell, Billerica, Charlestown, and Dorchester.
