Dic Donohue Speaks at Gala for Hospital That Saved His Life

The Woburn resident injured in the Boston Marathon bombing aftermath was present at a recent gala.

Woburn resident Dic Donohue, the MBTA Transit Officer injured in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings, was a guest at a recent gala held by the hospital that saved his life.

Donohue attended the Mount Auburn Hospital's Annual Party of the Year gala at the Seaport Hotel recently along with his wife Kim and parents Consuelo and Richard Donohue, Sr.

During the event, which raised a total of $500,000, Donohue gave a speech to the large crowd, thanking the hospital staff, first responders, doctors, nurses and others who helped save his life, according to a press release.
