Girls Soccer Honors Seniors, Raises Breast Cancer Awareness

During a game last week, the Lady Tanners tied Winchester 0-0. But there was much more going on besides just soccer action.

Last Thursday's girls soccer game at Woburn High School was an important one between two teams in the middle of the Middlesex League standings. But it had extra meaning as well.

The Lady Tanners honored their senior players before the game, and also sported pink uniforms as a part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

On the pitch, the locals played Winchester to a 0-0 draw. Woburn is now 8-4-2 on the season, 3-3-2 in league play, just behind Winchester in the standings.
