Petite is Small in Stature But Big in Personality

Petite is waiting for you at PAWS.

Small, but sassy, that is me, Petite, a gorgeous eight pound tuxedo girl with white socks and a big need of human affection and kisses. I love to play and explore, but will always be happy for a long session of petting first. If you call me, I will come running and then I will roll on my back and play. I am still a kitten, less than a year old, and have my kitten behaviors.  But, I can also be very mellow, sitting in the window and watching the world go by or snuggling in bed with you at night.  Mellow only goes so far, however.  Wait until dinner when I come running at the sound of the can top popping.  I have a quiet meow, but I like to use it.  If you listen, you will hear me thank you for my meal.

Despite my size, I really do like to be in charge of everyone and everything.  That means that I don’t mind dogs, if they will let me boss them around.  I also don’t mind cats if they are mellow and willing to let me be the kitten that I am who likes to have her way.  I will want to use their toys, their litter box, and their favorite chair because I am the queen bee.  I am not territorial myself, but I won’t respect their territories because I feel at home everywhere.  In my foster home, I like to sniff the other cats’ faces when they sleep and sometimes they get cranky because I follow them around.  I am a bossy, but friendly, little panther.

While I like other animals, I could also be your one and only.  As long as I have you, my favorite catnip ball that I like to take it in my arms and lick, and a few assorted mini catnip mice to chase, I will be very happy.  If you are looking for a fun-loving companion, I think things will work out great between us.

Do I sound amazing to you?  Of course I do.  Ok, I am a bit conceited, but what cat isn’t?  Since we agree on that, what are you waiting for?  Call me and let’s get together soon.  I, for one, cannot wait to start bossing you around.  Oops. I am already.
