Pajama Storytime featuring Mikayla Essigmann is Tuesday evening, August 14, at 7:00 p.m. Come to the library in your pajamas, enjoy some snacks, and listen to some fun stories. This program is intended for ages 4 and up.

Thursday, August 16, from 10:00—11:30 a.m.  is our grand finale! If you have read for four or more weeks, you have earned a certificate. Six weeks of reading earn a special pass for a free child and half-price adult schooner ride out of Gloucester. Eight weeks of reading earns a gold medal on your certificate.  Anyone who earns a certificate also earns a free book of his or her choice, and some other small prizes. The party will be held outside behind the library; if the weather is wet or rain threatens, it will be held inside the Children’s Room.
