Woburn Rotary Club Acknowledged for Charitable Efforts

According to a story in the Daily Times Chronicle, the local Rotary Club has reached over $100,000 in donations.

Woburn's Rotary Club recently earned a thank you from the international level, according to a report in the Daily Times Chronicle, as local members have gone above and beyond in raising money for charitable organizations.

The Times Chronicle reported that Rotary International sent a letter to the Woburn Rotary Club praising them for humanitarian efforts that have a wide-ranging impact.

According to the newspaper, since Woburn Rotary's James Major took over as the head of the local chapter six years ago, Rotarians in the city have raised over $100,000 to fight polio through various fundraisers.
