Woburn Woman, 101, Snags High School Diploma

Due to the great depression, the Woburn woman was forced to leave school early. On Friday, she finally achieved her goal.

Better late than never. And for Tina Lancelota, it was just as good even if it was more than just a little late.

Lancelota received her Woburn High School diploma on Friday during an assembly at the school, becoming a graduate at 101 years old.

According to WHDH.com, Lancelota was a student during the great depression, and as a result was forced to leave school early to help take care of her family, which included eight brothers and sisters.

The news station reported that Lancelota has big plans now that she's officially a high school graduate.

"I'm going to get a good job," joked Lancelota, according to WHDH. "I want to boss everybody."
