What is Woburn Thankful for This Year?

Local residents share their thoughts on what they are thankful for as they sit down for turkey this year.

Thanksgiving Day is upon us, and for Woburn residents there is plenty to be thankful for this holiday season.

Patch stopped by the Scoreboard Sports Bar and Grill in Woburn to find out what employees and patrons are thankful for this year. Watch their responses in the video above.

In addition, we reached out on our Facebook page, and heard back from several residents. Below are a few responses.

Shannon Bettencourt: I am thankful for my wonderful family, and for the dinner I will be preparing (Thursday).

Charlene Culhane: I am thankful that my Nana Gately is well enough to get out of rehab and be home for Thanksgiving.

Debbie Castillo: I am thankful for a roof over my head, food on my table, clothes on my back and my family's good health. Most of all, I have family to be with on Thanksgiving and food to share with my family. These are my blessing from god!

Phillip Boudreau: Thankful for my family and my daughter's new twins.

Karen Cusimano Fitzgerald: I am thankful for so much, starting with life, love, family, friends and the kindness of strangers. I am feeling truly blessed this season.

Stacy Rodman-Bauer: I am thankful for two healthy, happy sons.

Sarah Cooper: I'm thankful for my family, health, and my husband not being deployed and being here with us.

Liz Paradise Cuneo: I'm thankful for my family, especially my three healthy and beautiful children and I'm happy I have the day off work and don't have to cook!

Sharon Ballachino: The sports teams in Boston and New England!

We want to hear from you as well. Let us know what you're thankful for in 2013 in the comments section below. Happy Thanksgiving, Woburn!
