Obituary: Robert R. Galante, 32, Worked at Hogan Tire in Woburn

Robert R. Galante, of Salem, died Monday at Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center, after a long illness. He was 32.

Rob was raised in Reading and Saugus and graduated from Minuteman Vocational Technical High School in Lexington. He worked as an auto mechanic with Hogan Tire of Woburn. Rob liked working on cars in his spare time and enjoyed music. He was passionate about fishing and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was the beloved son of Robert Galante and his wife Maria Hanley of Salem, Linda (Bonnell) Crowley and Wesley Crowley of Kingston, NH. He was a loving brother to Brenda Galante and John Barrett, John D’Antonio and Jessica Shukraft, Marc D'Antonio and his husband Junior Charvez and Peter D'Antonio, all of Salem, Andy Crowley of Kingston, NH, Corey Crowley and his wife Ariel of California and Sasha Mann. The loving uncle of Quinn, Giovanni, Peter, Ella and Chloe, He was the devoted grandson of the late Louis and Dorothy Galante, the late Harold and Alberta Bonnell, Marie Hanley and the late John Hanley and he also leaves many dear uncles, aunts and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, on Saturday, April 5 at 10:30 a.m.
