Obituary: WMHS Graduate Passes Away at 30

Robert P. McLaughlin III, age 30, of Woburn, unexpectedly passed away January 23. Born in Winchester on March 27, 1983 he was the devoted son of Robert P. McLaughlin Jr. and Diane M. (Falino) McLaughlin of Woburn.

Robert was a Woburn resident for most of his life and was a member of the Woburn High School graduating class of 2001. He also lived and worked in Texas for a short time before returning home to be closer to his family. 

Robert was an avid Boston sports fan and especially enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox. He also had an affection for turtles and enjoyed keeping and raising them. Robert will forever be remembered for his infectious laugh and devotion to his family and friends.

In addition to his loving parents, Robert is survived by his brother, Richard McLaughlin of Texas. He was the cherished nephew of Sheila Fetterhoff of Littleton, Karen Forester of Billerica, Rose Marie Peterson of Lawrence, Joan and Dana Pulkkinen of Nashua, NH, Mary and James Callahan of Mason, NH. He was the loving cousin of Eric, Donny, David, Meagan, Missy, Jason, Christina, Jenny, Kristen and Charles. He is also survived by many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, on Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 3-7 p.m.
