Coyote attack - Day Circle

My 80lb Labrador Retriever was attacked Friday night by coyotes. She has multiple deep wounds and stitches......I would advise keeping a look out in the Day Cir area for these brazen animals. They were not scared off by me and we're in my back yard. Keep you pets close and don't let them out alone...it only took 3 minutes for her attack, luckily she got away.

Maria, I live in Wilmington and there is a huge coyote which our paper says has been tentatively identified as half wolf, which lives in the Chestnut St. area of town, not far from North Woburn. I'm sure that was the one you saw. I've seen him twice, he is larger than a German Shepherd!

Oh just seeing your response now Barbara! Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same one. There were 2 in my yard awhile back so I figured this was one of the two. The scary thing is there is a tarred path in my woods that little kids walk back and forth to school (Altavesta) on! When I saw the 2 wolves (coyote mix?) awhile back they looked exactly like the photos on my Wolves calendar.
