FREE VEGETABLE GARDENING CLASS AT WOBURN FARMER'S MARKET

Please stop by the Woburn Farmer's Market at Woburn's Spence Farm property, 41 Wyman Street this Sunday, July 14th and attend a free class on vegetable gardening at 11 AM. The free class will be led by Phil Jones of Jones Farm in Chelmsford, MA. It will include information for the home gardener on eliminating disease and providing bug control in your vegetable gardens. No garden is too big or small for you to learn the useful tips that will be presented at the class. There will also be a question and answer segment during the class. Jones Farm has been a vendor at Woburn's indoor winter market and is now bringing his wonderful assortment of locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables to the outdoor summer Farmer's Market each Sunday through October 20th. Woburn Farmer's Market is held every Sunday at 41 Wyman Street in Woburn from 10 AM to 2 PM, rain or shine. The market features a wonderful assortment of local vendors, offering fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, seafood, cheese, breads and baked goods, herbs and teas, granola, homemade prepared meals, lamb gyros and middle eastern faire, jellies and preserves, honey, maple syrup, ice cream sauces, hummus and spreads, handmade candles and soaps and jewelry. There is a petting zoo for children featuring mini horses and most weeks there is live musical entertainment. There is something for everyone at Woburn Farmer's Market, so please come on down to the farm and support our local farmers, chefs, bakers and artisans!
