ARREST LOG: Naked Teen's Acquaintance Taken into Protective Custody

An excerpt from the WPD police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. The arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following is an excerpt from the  log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

July 13 –

At 10:10 a.m., a 63-year-old Rockport resident was placed in protective custody after police received a report of a man lying on the ground. According to police, the man was intoxicated, had fallen in front of the courthouse and was lying in a mulch bed. The man refused medical treatment. He was taken into protective custody until an adult friend picked him up.  

At 9:45 p.m., Brian Charles Tsui, 22, of 678 Lowell St. in Lexington, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle after license revocation (subsequent offense), not having an inspection sticker and three outstanding warrants. Tsui was taken into custody during a routine traffic stop on Lake Avenue.

July 15 –

At 12:25 a.m., Robert Alan Jeffrey, 26, of 20 Creston Ave., was arrested and charged with assault and battery (domestic), intimidation of a witness and larceny from a person. According to police, Jeffrey confronted the victim in a parking lot, assaulting her and stealing her purse. A witness told police that Jeffrey took the victim’s cell phone. Police said the victim used the witness’s phone to call 911 while Jeffrey fled the area. Police found Jeffrey running behind his home and he was taken into custody.

At 1 p.m., David M. Callahan, 52, of 15 Munroe St., was arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order (two counts), intimidating a witness and larceny under $250. According to police, an arrest warrant was issued for Callahan on July 14 after he violated the order on July 13 and 14. He was found in the St. Charles Church area and was taken into custody, said police.

At 9:05 p.m., an 18-year-old Wilmington man was taken into protective custody. Police received a report of a cafeteria alarm at the Linscott-Rumford School and found the teen lying on the grass, wearing only shorts. According to police, the 18-year-old was “heavily intoxicated.” As police checked the area, they observed a naked teenaged girl running and hiding behind an electrical box, and another teen fled behind the bushes. Police spoke to both parties who said the man lying on the grass was a “a friend of a friend.” He was taken into protective custody and the two teens were asked to leave the area. A custodian reported that nothing appeared stolen at the school.
