Employee Steals Nearly $6,000 From Company
Police found the woman was also connected to a similar crime in Malden and is currently on a payment plan to repay funds stolen from that office.
A Pleasant Street business said an employee has stolen $5,920 from the company.
The business owner reported on Sunday that the employee has been stealing cash payments. There were six transactions totaling $5,920 in which the employee entered the charges into the accounting program, deleted the transactions and then took the cash.
Police watched video surveillance that showed the woman taking the money.

The employee will be charged with larceny by embezzlement. Police found the woman was also connected to a similar crime in Malden and is currently on a payment plan to repay funds stolen from that office.
