Employee's Ex-Boyfriend Threatens to Blow Up CVS With Fireworks

August 15-

At 8:23 p.m. police responded to the CVS at 300 Mishawum Road on a complaint. They spoke to a manager who said that an employee is being harassed by her ex-boyfriend. The employee said she spoke to her ex on the phone and he said he was coming over with fireworks to blow up the store.

Police contacted the ex-boyfriend and told him not to call her anymore.

At 5:13 p.m. police responded to a Prospect Street residence on a report of a domestic dispute.

The caller said she had an argument with her brother. She said the argument stemmed from her brother’s girlfriend accusing her of eating food that she had bought for herself. The brother and the girlfriend had left the apartment prior to police arrival.

The caller said she holds the lease to the apartment and would not welcome her brother or his girlfriend back inside. Police told her that if they did not leave peacefully she should call them for assistance.
