Teen Hospitalized After Stabbing Sunday Night

Nov. 12—A 15-year-old Woburn teen was hospitalized with serious injuries suffered in a stabbing late Sunday night.

According to police, the teen was stabbed several times on his torso. One puncture wound also collapsed the teen’s lung, said police.

POLICE LOG: Man Found Passed Out Under Pizza

Nov. 11—At 4:49 a.m., a 22-year-old Hadley man was placed in protective custody after police received another report of a problem at the Unicorn Park Marriot Hotel. According to police, the man was found passed out under several pizza boxes and beer cans. The hotel staff asked police to escort all of the room occupants off the premises. Police called a cab and followed it, as the driver brought the men to another nearby hotel. During the ride, the cabbie told police he no longer felt safe with the men, who had been drinking steadily all night in celebration of a 21st birthday party. At that time, police pulled over the cab and placed the Hadley man in protective custody.

 

Unarmed Robber Gets Nothing At Lowe's

Nov. 14—An unarmed robber attempted to get cash out of a Lowe’s register Tuesday afternoon, but was unsuccessful.

 

Woburn Man Arrested on Drug Charges

Nov. 15—A Woburn man was arrested on three drug charges Sunday, as a result of a Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force investigation.

 

POLICE LOG: Tow Truck Driver Drunk On Duty

Nov. 15—At 1:26 a.m., Charles Edward Slocomb, 28, of 91R Winn St., was arrested and charged with operating while under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. According to police, a parked car was struck on Lexington Street and pushed about 120 feet down the road. At that time, police were called to Murray’s Towing for a report of an accident involving the on-call driver, Slocomb, on Winn Street. When police spoke to Slocomb, he told officers he could not remember what he had hit, but he did “crash the truck.” Police reported Slocomb failed field sobriety tests and later failed a Breathalyzer.
