Gas Pipe and Wallet Reported Stolen

Pipe Stolen Off Vehicle

On Tuesday, Sept. 17, an officer was called to Industrial Ave. for a report of parts that were stolen off of a vehicle.

The general manager of a company on Industrial Way said a gas tank fill pipe had been removed from a box truck. The man said he had filled the tank with gas on September 12, but just noticed the part missing today. The caller said there are no cameras in the area, but is going to request some be put in.

Wallet Stolen at YMCA

On Sunday, Sept. 15, an officer out on patrol was dispatched to the YMCA on Lexington Street for a report of a stolen wallet.

Upon arrival, the officer found a Burlington resident who believes that at about 9:45 a.m. when he went into the men’s locker room to take a shower, his wallet was taken from his gym bag.

The wallet contained cash, four credit cards and a debit card in addition to a social security card and a driver’s license. The man described a possible suspect he had seen in the locker room, but when questioned by police the man emptied his pockets and bag and no evidence was found that he had taken the wallet.

Police advised the reporting party to cancel his credit cards, and he was given a case number for the report.

iPod Touch Stolen in Front of Library

On Monday, Sept. 16, a resident said he was parked in front of Woburn Public Library from 7:30-10:45 p.m. and when he came back to his car he found that it had been entered. 

The man said he saw the center console had been opened and left that way, but he did not notice anything missing. After searching the glove box, he found that a $199 iPod Touch was missing.
