High Street Pair Summonsed on Drug Charges

Large quantities of drugs found by Woburn Police, Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force.

 

A search warrant execution led to two Woburn residents being summonsed to court for drug charges.

Sandra J. Tello, 29, of 16A High St., and Cliff Maingrette, 25, also of 16A High St., were summonsed for:

  • Trafficking in Cocaine Over 100 Grams (Cocaine/Crack Cocaine);
  • Possess to Distribute Class B Drug (Ecstasy) - two counts;
  • Possess to Distribute Class D Drug (Marijuana);
  • Drug Violation Near School (St. Charles School); and
  • Conspiracy.

According to police, and the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force conducted a search warrant at the 16A High St. apartment as part of an ongoing investigation into the alleged illegal distribution of Oxycodone and Cocaine by Tello and Maingrette. 

At 5:29 p.m. Friday, officers knocked on the door at 16A High St., announcing, "Police, search warrant!" Officers entered the home, but found no one there. Two televisions were turned on in the residence on the first floor and the third floor, reported police.

Police left a copy of the search warrant on the kitchen table and began looking through the apartment.

According to police, officers found:

  • 23.96 grams of cocaine;
  • 84.11 grams of crack cocaine;
  • 513 grams of marijuana;
  • 95 Homer Simpson red Ecstasy tablets; and
  • 95 Smurf blue Ecstasy tablets.

Police spoke to a resident as they left the High Street residence around 7 p.m. Friday night. Police informed the resident that Tello and Maingrette would be summonsed to court and the Department of Children and Families would be notified of the investigation and summons.

According to , undercover detectives at Woburn Police cited Ecstasy as one of the largest problems facing the department. use has been on the rise with young people in the Woburn area, the detective said last month.
