Maine Grand Jury Indicts Woburn Man for 'Brazenly' Stealing Electronics

According to a report on Seacoast Online, Christopher Peluso is charged with stealing thousands of dollars of merchandise.

A grand jury in York County, Maine, indicted a Woburn resident last week on charges that he stole thousands of dollars of stereo equipment from a Kittery electronics store.

According to a report on Seacoast Online, Christopher F. Peluso, 39, of 6202 Inwood Drive, Woburn, was indicted on two counts of theft of items that were valued at more than $1,000.

A detective said that on October 22 and 23, Peluso "brazenly" walked into stores, picked up high-end pieces of equipment and walked out with them, according to Seacoast Online.

The website reported that Peluso remains at large and wanted by police and may have been responsible for similar incidents in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, though Peluso has not been seen in Maine since last fall.
