The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account.

Featured Incident

On Thursday, Dec. 5, police spoke to a man about suspicious activities that have been taking place at his place of employment.

The man said that over the past nine months he and his co-workers have been finding things out of place. He believes there are small pranks taking place, such as furniture being rearranged, business cards being crumpled up and thrown in the trash and coffee containers being left open.

But over the summer, the man believes things escalated to the point where a beaker containing chromic acid was overfilled to the point where it spilled over the edges. The man insisted that the beaker was not like that when he left for the night.

Since an incident on October 31, there have been other things happening which the man believes are connected such as doors being locked when they were previously open and a toilet having urine in it when he insists it was previously empty.

On November 29, the man smelt a strong odor of Ether in his office and called the Fire Department, but they could not locate the origin of the odor.

There is no physical evidence that would indicate any break ins to the building. The man believes it is possible that his old neighbor from Medford is stalking him.

According to the resident, the Medford neighbor is very sophisticated and is possibly hiding in the ceiling and doing these things to make him think he is crazy.

The alarm system has not caught anything that would indicate these things to be true.
