Featured Incident:

On Saturday, Sept. 21, police were called for larceny at Sendick Road. A man said he and his girlfriend were moving out of their home and a realtor who sold the property offered to ask three people she knew to help him move items from the home and into a storage facility in Burlington.

The homeowner said he had a five-gallon water just that was filled 75 percent of the way with coins and cash with an estimated $800 in the dining room. The jug was there at 8 a.m., but by the end of the moving day around 6 p.m., he noticed the jug was missing.

When asked if he knew who may have taken the jug, the homeowner said he was with two of the movers all day and that the third was the only person who was inside the home by himself. When asked if the home was locked when they left the home, the caller said yes.
