Featured Incident

One Thursday, Dec. 19, at 8:45 a.m. a resident approached an officer who was on foot patrol in the area of Pleasant Street.

The man told the officer that on December 13 at about 12 p.m. an iPhone 5 was delivered to his home on Brandon Court by a UPS driver.

The phone, ordered from Apple, was delivered without him knowing until he received a confirmation from Apple several days later.

According to the resident, he contacted UPS and they said that three unknown people were in front of his home at the time of the delivery. The driver made the delivery to those people, who signed using a name not known to him.

Police were informed by the man that he has been in contact with UPS and they have a satellite image of the incident.

Additional Incident

On Thursday, Dec. 19, at about 11:30 a.m. a woman came into the lobby to make a report.

The woman said she recently learned that an item she ordered online was delivered to her home on December 4. She confirmed with FedEx that the item was delivered, but she was never able to locate the package.

According to the woman, she lives near the Goodyear School and the theft of the two crock pots may have been caught on the school's surveillance system.
