Phone Stolen at High School, Fuel Spilled at Gas Station
An excerpt from the WPD police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction
Fuel Spilled at Hess Station
On Tuesday, Sept. 17, an officer was called to Hess Station on Montvale Ave. for a report of a fuel spill around 6:50 p.m.
Upon arrival, the officer found a vehicle at the pump with the owner next to it speaking with several members of the Woburn Fire Department, who had already placed a spill kit on the ground. The woman said she had just had her vehicle’s fuel pump replaced, and while filling the car with gas the leak occurred.
The vehicle could not be started because it would have caused a dangerous situation, so it was towed back to the company that replaced her fuel pump earlier in the day.
