Featured Incident

On Sunday, Jan. 26, at about 11:30 a.m., police were called to Mill Stree to investigate a disturbance. The call was placed by a nearby resident who reported hearing loud yelling.

Police approached the apartment in question and could hear a verbal argument ongoing inside. Officer knocked and announced their presence.

The door was quickly opened by a man who said he and his live-in girlfriend were having an argument over the fact that she just found out that she is pregnant. Police asked if the argument became physical at any time, and the man said it did not.

Officers were told the couple was just arguing and "they were not needed there." Police did, however, file a written report because the couple lives together and a domestic incident had been called in.
