POLICE LOG: Argument Turns Physical, Alcohol May Be Factor

The following is an excerpt from the  log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

May 17 –

At 8:28 p.m., a Woburn woman was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after a car accident on Unicorn Park Drive. 

May 18 –

At 9:12 a.m., Joao Junior, 38, of 64 Hollis St. Apt. #1 of Framingham, was arrested and charged with an outstanding warrant. Junior was taken into custody after his vehicle was stopped during routine traffic patrol on Lexington Street. According to police, Junior was operating a car with no inspection sticker.

At 9:34 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of a disturbance on Winter Street. According to police, a Somerville man was pounding on the door, asking to go into the home. When police arrived, they talked to the resident who said the man did have some belongings in the house. Police escorted the man into the house to obtain his belongings.

At 10:47 a.m., police and fire were called to a Pine Street address for a LifeLine activation. Firefighters were forced to gain entry to the home by breaking a glass pane on the back door. Upon entry, they found a woman with a hip injury.

At 11:19 a.m., police were called to on Bryant Street for a report of larceny. According to police, a woman reported a box of Boston Bruins jerseys were taken. The jerseys are valued at approximately $1,350.

At 1:15 p.m., Natalie Millien, 22, of 96 Second St. of Medford, was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute a Class B substance (Oxycodone) and drug violation near a school or park.  

At 4:26 p.m., police responded to a report of an ongoing landlord-tenant dispute on Park Street.

At 5:23 p.m., a Woburn woman reported being harassed via text message and Facebook.

May 19 –

At 2:46 a.m., police and fire were dispatched to Foster Street for a report of a person struck by a car. According to police, when the officer arrived, he found two people sitting on the sidewalk. The victim told police he had been in an argument that turned physical and was struck in the nose. The person who allegedly hit the victim sped away in his car, rolling the vehicle into the victim before leaving. Police received word that the other person involved in the argument was at the Police Station. According to the other person, the argument did turn physical but he said he did not strike the victim with the car. Police reported alcohol was a factor in the incident.
