At 2:53 p.m., a Prospect Street resident reported an attempted break-in. The man identified a suspect. He said he puts a coffee table in front of his entry door each night and has a wooden wedge to keep the door locked. The man went to bed and put earplugs in his ears. When he woke up, he saw that the doorframe had been pulled away from the wall and he thinks someone tried to enter the residence. The man said he feels threatened by the person he identified as a suspect. Police told him to call police if he feels threatened again.
