Police Log: Business Owner Reports Someone Has Been Pranking Him for Years

An excerpt from the WPD police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, March 3

At 1:19 p.m., the owner of an Arrow Drive business reported someone has been pranking and stalking him for years. Most recently, the person left a piece of rubber tube on his office desk and also recently entered the building and turned the power on and off the company's DVR system. Other pranks have included yogurt containers inside the bed of his truck and a plant leaf wedged between a window. The man said he knows who is doing it and asked Woburn Police to take a report. He told police he has a private investigator working on the case.

At 3:54 p.m., police received a call on Main Street after a driver in a minivan struck a parked pickup with a plow attached to the front. The plow was reportedly sideswiped by the vehicle and the driver fled toward Wilmington.

At 4:05 p.m., police responded to the YMCA after someone entered an unlocked locker, stole car keys from a person’s jacket and entered a vehicle. The thief took about $350 that was in a money clip and two $50 gift cards to Target and two $50 gift cards to Kohl’s. The thief also left the car keys on the front seat. Police are investigating.
