Police Log: Car Tire Knifed on Kimball Court

At 4:49 p.m., police spoke to a Woburn man about a vandalized car on Salem Street. The owner said there were small dents and multiple scratches. He said he didn’t report if when it happened more than a month ago because he told police he was trying to figure out who damaged the car. There are no suspects. 

At 4:50 p.m., police arrested Mia Victoria Curatone, 20, 5 Minton Road, Billerica, and charged her with shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise and two warrants. Police made the arrest after responding to Kohl’s about a shoplifter who tried to steal $265.49 worth of merchandise, including beauty cream, perfume and earrings. She reportedly placed several items in her purse.

At 5:01 p.m., police arrested John Joseph Hamilton, 44, 39 Richardson St., Woburn, and charged him on a warrant for possessing a Class D drug. Police made the arrest after a report of a disturbance on Hudson Street.

At 7:01 p.m., a Kimball Court resident called police after someone flattened a car tire with a knife. She said has had trouble with teenagers in the area. The woman said she tried to purchase marijuana from one of them and she never received it. The woman said she and the alleged dealer sent threatening messages back and forth to each other. Police spoke to one possible suspect who was carrying a knife. Police confiscated the knife and gave it to the teen’s father when he came to take custody of his son. Police also spoke to the mother of another suspect and the father of a third suspect and informed them of the situation.
