POLICE LOG: Christmas Display Vandalized Again

Dec. 3 – At 5:54 p.m., a Middle Street man reported his Christmas light wires were cut. According to police, the man’s light display was also damaged last week. Police observed two areas where the wires were cut.

Dec. 3 –

At 9:18 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Montvale Avenue at the Route 93 off-ramp. According to police, one car went through a red light, causing the collision. That driver was cited, said police.

At 7:43 p.m., a Woburn woman reported her purse stolen from the Westgate Apartment parking lot. According to police, the woman left her purse in an unlocked vehicle while she helped a friend bring groceries inside her apartment. When the woman returned, the purse was gone, said police. The bag contained credit cards, her license, and cash.

At 10:20 p.m., police were dispatched to Lexington Street for a domestic disturbance call. According to police, witnesses reported hearing a man and woman arguing in an apartment. Police spoke to the couple, who stated the argument was verbal only. The man, who had already left the residence, was asked to stay somewhere else for the evening.
