POLICE LOG: Christmas Lights Wires Cut By Vandal

Nov. 28 – At 3:39 p.m., a Brandt Street resident reported vandalism to his holiday display. According to police, the wire on the man’s Christmas lights had been cut overnight.

Nov. 28 –

At 6:32 p.m., a Saugus woman reported her car damaged while it was parked in the Fairfield Inn parking lot. According to police, the damage was likely from another car door.

At 6:57 p.m., a Woburn man reported he planned a vacation through a Craigslist advertisement and paid $600 to a bank account in Minnesota. According to police, the man was contacted by Minnesota police who advised him that he was the victim of a scam, along with others.

At 8:19 p.m., a 47-year-old man was placed in protective custody after police received a report of an unwanted man on Liberty Avenue. According to police, the man was reportedly intoxicated and disruptive at the residence. Police asked the man to leave, but he had no where to stay. He was taken into protective custody for the night.
