The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

Jan. 13 – At 12 p.m., police were called to a two-car accident on Montvale Avenue at Unicorn Park. According to police, a driver told police he was “confused” and attempted to take a left turn at the red light. There were no reported injuries. One driver was cited for failure to stop at a red light.
Jan. 11 –
At 7:35 a.m., a Woburn woman reported she was forced off the road when a car pulled out in front of her in the Route 128/38 rotary on Main Street. The woman’s car landed in a snowbank. The other vehicle did not stop, said police.
At 8:10 a.m., a Woburn woman was cited for failure to yield at a red light on Main Street at Eaton Avenue.
At 9:30 a.m., a Wilmington man was cited for an improper lane change at the Main Street/Montvale Avenue intersection.
At 4:45 p.m., police responded to Stop & Shop for a report of a car-break in the parking lot. According to police, a Burlington woman reported her tire rims were stolen from her car while she was inside the store.
Jan. 12 –
At 1:25 p.m., a Winchester woman was involved in a single-car crash on Winn Street. According to police, the woman told the officer she was forced off the road by an unknown vehicle that did not stop. The woman swerved and struck a light post, tree and landed on the sidewalk. Police observed visible skid marks near the crash. There were no witnesses to identify the other vehicle, said police.
At 4:41 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident in a Main Street parking lot. According to police, one driver was backing up when he struck the other vehicle. There were no reported injuries.
At 5:22 p.m., police were called to Washington Street for a report of a two-car accident. Police reported one car rear-ended another stopped at a red light. The driver told police she was distracted “for a moment.” There were no reported injuries.
Jan. 13 –
At 9:44 a.m., a 33-year-old Lynn man was summonsed to Woburn District Court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. According to police, the man was stopped during routine traffic patrol after an officer observed him drive over the double-yellow line twice on Olympia Avenue.
At 10:48 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Montvale Avenue. According to police, one driver was leaving the Dunkin’ Donuts when the accident occurred. An Easton woman cited failure to yield to the right of way on Montvale Avenue.
At 12:20 p.m., a Winchester woman was cited for operating an unregistered vehicle on a public way (Lowell Street).
At 4:06 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at the Woburn Mall.
At 7:40 p.m., police were called to Kohl’s on Washington Street for a report of a shoplifter. According to police, a woman took an “e-reader tablet” and three cell phone chargers and concealed them in her bag. An employee attempted to stop the woman, who ran and jumped into a car driven by a man. The couple sped off, according to witnesses.
At 8:25 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance. According to police, a woman said her longtime boyfriend came home from watching the New England Patriots game at Tanner Tavern and was “loud and boisterous.” The man took the woman’s car and left the area. Police were unable to locate the man or the car.
