Police Log: Cops Respond to Heroin Overdose Call

At 4:59 p.m., police responded to Montvale Avenue about possible drug activity. Police arrived and found four teens blowing smoke in the air. Police smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana. The teens acknowledged that they were smoking marijuana, but denied taking any other drugs. Police searched the teens and found one was carrying a knife, which he said he got from his house. Police drove the teens home.

At 5:59 p.m., a Woburn resident reported identity fraud. She said she received a letter from the IRS saying that her social security number was used to file a tax return and the matter was under investigation. She said she lost her wallet about four months ago and the wallet included her driverโ€™s license and credit cards, but her social security card was not in the wallet. Police took a report.

At 7:28 p.m., police responded to the Target parking lot about a drug overdose call. Police found a 56-year-old woman unconscious in a car. The woman eventually regained consciousness and acknowledged that she took heroin earlier that day. She was transported to the hospital.ย
