Police Log: East Boston Man Charged with Assault
An excerpt from the WPD police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Jan. 28
At 1:52 p.m., police responded to a three-car accident at Bedford Road and Willow Street. One vehicle was going through a green light when it struck another vehicle that was running the red light, which then crashed into a third vehicle. Two people were taken to the hospital. The operator of the second vehicle was cited for a red light violation.
Wednesday, Jan. 29
At 8:01 p.m., police arrested David Wayne Malgeri, 54, 602 Saratoga St., East Boston, and charged him with domestic assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon. Police responded to a domestic dispute and spoke to two people who said Malgeri had been physical and reportedly lifted an unopened wine bottle over his head. Police spoke to Malgeri and made the arrest.
