Featured Call of the Day:
Oct. 4 – At 4:53 p.m., the driver of a vehicle headed east on Pleasant Street said she lost control of her car because the road was wet and hit a parked car, pushing it into a third car. An officer in the area heard the crash. When he arrived, the first car was sideways and blocking the eastbound lane of traffic on Pleasant Street. It had a broken front passenger axle. The driver told police she was not injured but the officer called for medical assistance because the woman had an infant in the rear seat of her vehicle. The Woburn Fire Department transported both the woman and infant. Police cited the woman for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. The first and second vehicles were towed. A witness said the first vehicle swerved to miss hitting a truck coming out of Bennett Street.

The resident said he heard noise outside around 11 p.m. the previous evening and saw three males get into a Black Ford Expedition and drive away. He did not see the men at his truck but feels they were involved in the incident.
