At 1:50 p.m., police placed a 44-year-old Woburn woman into protective custody. Police responded to a report of an intoxicated woman staggering on the sidewalk at Middlesex Canal Park Drive and Main Street and then a second call from another person who said the woman was staggering around a building on Alfred Street. Police placed her into protective custody.
At 8:40 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Pleasant Street and Arlington Road. There were no reported injuries and no citations given to either driver.
