POLICE LOG: iPad Stolen from Woburn Mall

Aug. 22 – At 4:24 p.m., the AT&T store at the Woburn Mall reported a stolen iPad. According to police, the iPad was taken on Friday, Aug. 17 by a white male, approximately 6-feet tall with a goatee, and wearing a striped shirt and shorts. The man was also reportedly wearing his sunglasses inside the store.

Other Incidents:

Aug. 22 –

At 12:55 p.m., a Washington Street company reported a confrontation between a terminated employee and another employee. According to police, the man had been fired and began to intimidate the other employee. Police reported two men from the company escorted the man off of the property. Police spoke to the man, who was advised that he is not welcome back at the business.

At 1:18 p.m., a Locust Street man reported two fraudulent charges on his credit card. According to police, the two charges were made on Aug. 14 in New York and totaled almost $4,000. The man told police his credit card company had disputed the charges and were not holding him responsible.

At 5 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance on Prospect Street. According to police, an elderly woman asked that her 49-year-old daughter be removed from the property. Police reported speaking to the daughter, who grabbed a backpack full of belongings and left with the officer.
