POLICE LOG: Male Arrested for Assault and Battery on a Pregnant Woman

Dec. 12 -  At 2:27 p.m. police responded to a West Cumming Park location for reports of a domestic assault. The victim, who is 12 weeks pregnant, stated she had been punched in the stomach by her boyfriend.  She also stated that he had kneed her in the face.

Police arrested Kenneth Michael Blunt, 27, of 13 Dunkin St., Apartment 12, Dorchester, on two charges of assault and battery on a pregnant woman.

Other Incidents:

Dec. 12 -

At 5:30 p.m. a male came to the station to report that his former employer had used the information obtained when he worked for them to open a Verizon cell phone account in his name. Verizon would not provide further information on the account, or waive the $200 cancellation fee without a police report. No known address for former employer at this time.

Police to follow up.

At 7:30 p.m. police responded to Border Street for a dispute between neighbors. Same is an ongoing issue. The reporting party stated the neighbor had obtained a harassment order against her daughter and that she believes the neighbor is trying to incite her daughter to break it by taunting her.

At 9:30 p.m. police responded to Main Street for a report of annoying phone calls. Caller stated he received three harassing phone calls. Police advised victim to contact cell phone provider and have them block the restricted phone calls.  Police also advised he could also seek a harassment prevention order if the calls continue.
