POLICE LOG: Man Calls Ex Over 30 Times in Day

Sept. 13 –

At 8:52 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Montvale Avenue. According to police, the cars hit each other while both attempted to pull over for an ambulance with its sirens on. There were no reported injuries.

At 2:07 p.m., police were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Canterbury Road. According to police, one man was exiting the house when the officer arrived. The man told police he was leaving and was going to move out. Police advised all parties of their rights to obtain a restraining order in court.

At 3:47 p.m., a Woburn man reported someone fraudulently wrote a check for almost $16,000 and attempted to deposit it into another account. The man told police that the suspect who wrote the check called the bank to check on the funds and was told that it was a fraudulent transaction.

At 3:52 p.m., police responded to Salem Street for a report of harassment. According to police, the resident told police that the neighbor’s children were riding their scooters on her driveway.

At 5:51 p.m., a Wade Avenue resident reported to police that her car window was smashed open. Police said that nothing was taken from the vehicle.

At 5:52 p.m., a Woburn woman reported her ex-boyfriend was calling her phone “non-stop.” According to police, the woman said he had called her phone more than 30 times during the day. Police advised the woman to seek a restraining order in court.

At 10:20 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Warren Avenue.
