POLICE LOG: McD's Hamburgers Thrown At House

Aug. 26 – At 12:10 p.m., a Woburn woman reported several incidents of vandalism at her Russell Street home. According to police, the woman said that McDonald’s hamburgers were thrown at her home.

Aug. 23 –

At 7:56 a.m., police responded to a report of several tools stolen from a Woburn home. According to police, the men were doing plumbing work and found that a tool set, drill with bits, plumbing hand tools, and set of copper roll lines were taken.

At 8:12 a.m., a Woburn property owner reported his Main Street building was “tagged” overnight. According to police, the graffiti included the numbers “478.”

At 11 a.m., police were dispatched to a two-car accident on Washington Street. According to police, one car failed to yield to the right of way while turning. That driver was cited, said police. There were no reported injuries.   

Aug. 24 –

At 10:13 a.m., a North Andover man reported his car damaged while it was parked in the Stop & Shop parking lot on Elm Street.

At 6:31 p.m., a Sonrel Street man reported that 400-500 pound of copper air conditioning condensors from his driveway.

At 9:06 p.m., police assisted a resident with removing a man from the home. According to police, the pair argued and spilled a beer. Police asked the man to stay away from the residence for the evening.

At 9:21 p.m., police responded to a report of an accident in the Red Roof Inn parking lot. One of the cars fled the scene after the accident, said police.  

Aug. 25 –

At 1:04 p.m., police responded to a Cambridge Road resident who reported his apartment was broken into overnight. According to police, nothing was missing from the apartment, but several beer cans, beer bottles and red plastic cups were found inside. Police also found a backpack with a Winchester man’s paystubs inside. The man told police he just wanted the apartment cleaned up and did not want to press charges. Police spoke to the Winchester man, who admitted to being in the apartment and agreed to clean up the mess.  

At 2:28 p.m., a 62-year-old Wilmington man was taken into protective custody. According to police, the intoxicated man was found sleeping in the mulch behind a Sylvan Road building.  

Aug. 26 –

At 11:50 a.m., police responded to Willow and South Bedford streets for a two-car accident.

At 12:12 p.m., a Woburn man reported that a woman violated a court order by entering the home and removing several items, including a television, clothes dryer and sofa.

At 6:24 p.m., police responded to a on Beach Street. .  

At 7:13 p.m., a Woburn woman reported receiving threats from her estranged husband. According to police, the man has threatened the woman via telephone and e-mail.

At 7:59 p.m., police responded to Sylvanus Wood Lane for a report of a fight between two men. According to police, both men said they argued and physically fought, but did not want to press charges. One man did go to the hospital for minor injuries, said police.
