POLICE LOG: Metal Spoons, Stolen Syrup & God

Oct. 11 – At 1:41 p.m., police were called to McDonald’s on Montvale Avenue for a report of a larceny. According to police, a man ordered some food and paid for it. Later, the man questioned whether he received the food he paid for. After the man was told that he did get all his food, the employees reported he began acting “odd.” Employees told police the man then grabbed three syrup bottles and metal spoons and yelled, “God will fix you, God will take care of you.”

Oct. 11 –

At 7:24 a.m., police responded to a hit-and-run accident on Belmont Street near Arlington Street. According to police, one car was parked on Belmont Street when it was side-swiped by another vehicle.

At 8:24 a.m., police were called to the Route 128 off-ramp at Main Street near the theater. According to police, one car rear-ended the other, also striking the passenger side of the car. One car was towed from the scene. One driver was cited in the crash.

At 11:57 a.m., a Woburn resident reported a diamond ring worth several thousand dollars stolen from her home.

At 2:07 p.m., a Burlington woman reported she went to her son’s Wade Avenue home and noted that his laptop had been stolen.

At 5:56 p.m., a Washington Street man reported unusual, unauthorized activity on his credit card.

At 9:51 p.m., a Woburn woman reported receiving a threatening phone call.
