POLICE LOG: Thrown Pumpkin Takes Out Mailbox

Oct. 21 –

At 12:18 p.m., a Russell Street woman reported her mailbox damaged overnight. According to police, the mailbox was damaged by a thrown pumpkin. Police believe that someone in a car, passing by the mailbox, threw the pumpkin. The mailbox was shattered and the post dislodged, said police.

At 10:19 p.m., a Danvers man reported his car was damaged while parked in the Polcari’s parking lot on Montvale Avenue. According to police, a car backed into the parked car, damaging the front end.
