POLICE LOG: Neighbor Spits On Woman

An excerpt from the WPD police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. The arrest does not indicate a conviction.


The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

Nov. 7 – At 8:53 p.m., police were called to Kimball Court for a report of an assault and battery between neighbors. According to police, one woman said a neighbor argued with her and when she walked away, the woman followed her and spit on her. Police advised the woman to follow up with the court if she chose to press charges. The building manager told police that there have been several previous incidents involving the two women.

Nov. 7 –

At 11:16 a.m., police responded to the Stop & Shop parking lot for a report of a car damaged while the owner was inside shopping. According to police, the suspect car hit the parked car and fled without leaving any information.

Nov. 8 –

At 7:11 a.m., a man reported his car damaged by an unknown vehicle while it was parked in the Tudor Glen Apartment complex on Locust Street.

At 1:36 p.m., a Woburn resident reported a car damaged while parked in the Kimball Court lot.

At 4:15 p.m., police were called to a two-car accident on Cambridge Road at Lexington Street. According to police, one car rear-ended another when he was unable to avoid the collision. There were no reported injuries.

At 6:05 p.m., a Woburn woman reported that two bank checks were cashed without her authorization. The checks totaled over $18,000. The woman told police that one of the check numbers used was still in her possession.

At 6:19 p.m., a Woburn woman reported receiving several harassing phone calls, voice mails and text messages from a man. The woman told police she had a restraining order against the man previously, but it had expired. In the voice mails, said police, the man referenced the woman’s son, made random statements and said, “I’m a beast.”
