Police Log: Officers Break Up Bar Fight

Friday, July 11

At 5:10 p.m., police placed a 33-year-old Woburn man into protective custody after a report of a man asleep at a table at a Main Street restaurant.

 

Saturday, July 12

At 2:46 a.m., police placed a 39-year-old intoxicated Woburn man into protective custody after a report of a man passed out on the sidewalk at Main and Green streets.

At 8:14 p.m., police arrested William Davis, 63, 20 Pine St., Woburn, and charged him with domestic assault and battery and resisting arrest.

Monday, July 14

At 12:19 a.m., police responded to Applebee’s about a fight among patrons. Police separated four people and spoke to them. Two men had a disagreement in the bathroom and began arguing. The argument spilled out to the bar area and two men two men started to fight. One of the men said he was hit in the back of the head with a bottle, but police said there was no evidence of that. All of the people involved seemed intoxicated, according to police. The manager said they only had one beer each at the restaurant.
